Many construction, manufacturing and utility companies utilize local storage yards to store large, high-value assets for construction projects or repair.  Storage yards, often referred to as "lay down yards" may extend for acres where materials are stored in close proximity to a job site.  Because materials are continuously being checked in and out of these storage yards, real-time visibility, security and inventory accuracy becomes the holy grail of yard management.  When this is achieved, significant savings result – as the right asset is available when it is absolutely needed; eliminating project delays, potential shut down, and missed service levels.

InSync and IDENTEC SOLUTIONS developed a Webinar covering their combined storage yard management solution. The Webinar features end-users discussing current trends in yard management, including the technologies and software systems being utilized by leading companies to provide real time visibility of construction assets and reduce overall construction time.  RFID and GPS technologies, software application and deployment, grid-based location, geo fencing and other key elements of these solutions will be discussed and demonstrated in this highly informative hour-long event, hosted by RFID Journal.

Organizations that will find this event valuable include customers in construction, utility, vehicle storage, ports, oil and gas and chemicals industries that require the ability to track high value assets in vast outdoor or indoor storage yards
