Edge Applications Portal

Each Edge Application is a bundle of software tools and functionality to facilitate an intermediate business process. These processes capture functionality that is critically enabled by the availability of RFID data in near real time, with high reliability and low incremental cost.

The Edgeware Applications Portal is a generic application server that hosts multiple edge application bundles, communicates with the RFID Tracking Server, and may also communicate directly with core back end systems, as required for a given application.
